Why people switch from Neo or Titan

  • Neo Business Starter costs about US$2.49 per mailbox per month on an annual plan (as of October 18, 2026), and Neo sets its own renewal prices. A Velto mailbox renews at the price you paid.
  • Titan often comes free for a trial period with a domain or hosting plan, then becomes a paid add-on billed by the host. Velto bills you directly, once a year.
  • Neo and Titan offer read receipts that report when a recipient opens your message. Velto never adds tracking pixels or rewrites links in customer mail.

What moves

  • Every message, with its folders, read and unread state, flags, original dates and attachments.
  • Contacts and calendars come across as files: export them from Neo or Titan (contacts as a .vcf file, calendars as .ics files) and import them into your Velto address book and calendar from your phone or computer.
  • Your domain stays yours. Only the mail records (MX) change.

What doesn't move

Read receipts, and any website or booking page that came with Neo. Velto replaces the mailbox only; your web hosting and domain stay with your current provider.

Mail filters, rules and signatures don't move; set them up again in Velto.

How long it takes

  • A mailbox of a few GB usually copies within a few hours. Larger ones take longer, and an interrupted copy picks up where it stopped.
  • A day or more ahead, lower the time-to-live (TTL) on your MX records; then point them at Velto. Velto shows the exact records and checks them.
  • For 48 to 72 hours after that change, anything that still lands at Neo or Titan is copied across.
  • You get a “migration complete” email. Then you can close your Neo or Titan account.

Titan's price depends on the host that sells it, so it isn't in the table.

Founding price for the first 1,000 mailboxes; US$12 from mailbox 1,001. Your mailbox renews at the price you paid, for as long as you keep it. Billed annually.

Law firms, accountants and consultants: the Compliance plan is US$30 per mailbox per year at the founding price, US$40 public.

How to switch

  1. Find your IMAP settings. For Titan, the server is imap.titan.email, port 993; for Neo, they are in Neo's settings, with the instructions for other mail apps.
  2. Add your domain to Velto, create your mailboxes, and enter your address, password and IMAP server.
  3. Change your MX records where your domain is managed. If you bought the domain through Neo or your web host, that's where they are. Velto shows the exact records and checks them.

Migration is self-serve: in the Velto dashboard, enter the old address and its password or app password, and the copy runs in the background while you start using Velto. Founding firms also get the founder's direct line if anything looks off.

Keep using your phone and apps

Remove the Neo or Titan account from your mail apps and add your Velto address and password. Thunderbird, classic Outlook and Apple Mail on a Mac find the settings on their own; on an iPhone, a one-tap setup profile adds mail, calendar and contacts; Android takes a few more taps. Calendars and contacts sync too. With two-factor on, each mail app gets its own app password from the Velto dashboard. You can also install the Velto web app on your phone.

Questions

Titan came with my web hosting. Will my website stop working?

No. Only the mail records change. Your website stays with your host.
