Android
Mail in the Gmail app (or your phone's own mail app), plus calendar and contacts with DAVx5.
This app doesn't find Velto's settings on its own, so it takes a few more taps. Follow the steps below; every setting you need is listed at the bottom.
Use your mailbox password: the one you chose from your set-password link, not your dashboard password.
Mail (Gmail app)
- Open the Gmail app. Tap your profile picture, then Add another account, then Other.

- Enter your full email address and tap Next. Choose Personal (IMAP).
- Enter your mailbox password and tap Next.
- Incoming server settings: server mx1.veltomx.com, security SSL/TLS, port 993. Tap Next.

- Outgoing server settings: keep Require sign-in switched on, server mx1.veltomx.com, security SSL/TLS, port 465. Tap Next.

- Choose how often to check for mail, then tap Next and Done.
Calendar and contacts (DAVx5)
- Android's built-in apps can't connect to a calendar or address book on their own. Install DAVx5 from Google Play or F-Droid.
- Open DAVx5, tap +, then Login with URL and user name.
- Base URL: https://mx1.veltomx.com. User name: your full email address. Password: your mailbox password. Tap Login.

- Tap Create account, then tick the calendars and address books you want. They now appear in your phone's Calendar and Contacts apps.
Good to know
- Samsung Email and most other mail apps ask the same questions: choose IMAP and use the settings at the bottom.
- On a Compliance account, check with us before using the Gmail app with your Velto mailbox.

Check it works
Send yourself a message from the app, then reply to it. If it arrives both ways, you're done.
